Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Senior Finance Systems Analyst to join the firm as part of our Shared Servies Accounting team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities

Designing and developing financial systems:

  • Support the creation and implementation of new systems and processes or the improvement of existing ones. Ensuring that they align with internal business requirements. 

 

System Maintenance and Support: 

  • Provide technical support for financial software, including troubleshooting issues, resolving errors, and optimizing system performance. 
  • Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and controls. 

 

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze and improve financial accounting work processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Identifying trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. 
  • Support in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement in financial processes and systems. 
  • Automate manual tasks and streamline workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively enhance financial systems. 

 

Data Analysis and Reporting: 

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and prepare reports for management. 

 

Support the Analysis and Development of the Annual Business Plan 

  • Support in the evaluation of financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key risks and opportunities. 
  • Support the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management. 
  • Work cross functionally with key stakeholders in the implementation of improved budgeting and analysis platforms. 
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of financial systems with other enterprise applications. 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree: in business, computer science, or a related field 
  • Relevant experience in financial analysis, systems administration, or a related field 
  • 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in financial analysis and systems analysis and implementation 
  • Demonstrated and advanced proficiency in financial software applications and ERP systems (Vantage Point, Power BI, SQL) strong excel skills required 
  • Familiarity with database management and SQL queries 
  • Knowledge of data modeling and data visualization tools, such as PowerBI, OneStream, and Tableau, utilizing multiple sources of data throughout a diverse environment of information systems. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends 
  • Detail orientated with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey Indepth financial information to key stakeholders 
  • Experience in system implementations/upgrades including system design/development, meticulous testing/validation, and deployment/implementation.
