Corgan is searching for an experienced content manager to join our Communications team in firm’s Dallas headquarters. The ideal candidate is proactive, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented with excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content. This role will help drive Corgan’s firmwide content strategy — responsible for creating, curating, and maximizing stories that strengthen Corgan’s brand and increase our reputation across platforms and key audiences. While based in Communications, this role partners closely with Marketing to ensure our content aligns with sector priorities, business development goals, and trending topics.

 

 

Responsibilities

General responsibilities include managing the firm’s content strategy, creating and optimizing content, managing content distribution, collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing and reporting on content performance, and ensuring compliance and quality standards. Specifically, within this role the person will:

  • Work with the Director of Communications to establish a content strategy that is focused and supports the firm’s goals.
  • Surface compelling storylines by collaborating with firm subject matter experts, sector leaders, and internal teams including insight articles, Q&As, bylines, etc. to establish thought leadership.
  • Manage workflow and review content from experienced writer already on staff.
  • Collaborate with the digital media specialist on posting content on website and digital channels.
  • Forge collaborative relationship with MediaLab (in house media production team) to ensure leveraging story lines and SMEs holistically for use on The Square (Corgan’s podcast) and in video story telling.
  • Formalize sector newsletter process – assist with creating newsletter specific content, coordinating with sector, research, communications and marketing teammates.
  • Keep the pulse of industry trends, current events, and evolving client (internal and external) needs to ensure that content is timely, relevant, and engaging.
  • Use analytics tools to measure performance, report, and apply insights to continuously improve content strategy.

Qualifications

 

  • Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience working in the architecture/engineering/construction or real estate industry.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and optimizing content for digital platforms.
  • Strategic use of AI tools to support ideation and efficiency in a responsible way.
  • Ability to develop relationships with firm leaders.
  • Experience in managing people.
  • Proven work experience as a Content Manager.
  • Experience with paid content strategy.
  • Experience with Drupal CMS is a bonus.
  • Must have a degree in journalism, communications or related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in writing and content management along with a minimum of five years writing for companies within the real estate or AEC industry.
