Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Legal Assistant to join the firm as part of our Legal team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Our ideal team member is passionate and progressively seeking more responsibilities to expand their expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain legal files and records (physical and digital) 
  • Maintain Form 1295s (Certificate of Interested Parties) for assigned Sectors
  • Assist with Certificate of Insurance (COI) Requests for assigned Sectors
  • Manage and update the following -
    Federal Exclusion list

    Trust layer & Consultant Master Service Agreement list
    Client-Corgan Master Service Agreement (MSA) list
    Maintain Legal’s iNet page
  • Coordinate Team meetings, as well as attendance for sector meetings
  • Expense Reports for Chief Legal Officer
  • Diary Assistance
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and tracking contracts, NDAs, and service agreements
  • Assist with B Series Owner-Architect Contracts
  • Maintain contract database and ensure timely renewals and compliance

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a corporate legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in a design, architecture, or construction-related firm.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with architectural contracts (e.g., AIA documents) is a plus.
