Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic IT Manager to join the firm as part of our Shared Services Core Information Technology team. This is an in-office position where you will work alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities

  • Manage Corgan’s infrastructure, network ecosystem, and end-user compute systems, including workstations and AV. Guide the design, capacity planning, performance, and stability of compute, storage, virtualization, identity services, and core network services across all major platforms.
  • Lead projects in partnership with the core technology team. Set direction, keep work on track, and step in as needed to support technical tasks or remove obstacles.
  • Ensure professional level support and provide hands-on leadership during technical issues.
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships and handle purchases, renewals, and contract reviews related to infrastructure.
  • Ensure clear, complete documentation for systems, networks, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain operational awareness by reviewing performance, backups, logs, and service availability
  • Lead structured incident, problem, and change management practices. Set expectations for communication and process adherence.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that increase stability, security, and efficiency.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, after-hours maintenance, and incident response to ensure reliable operations.
  • Travel to company offices as needed for operational work or project support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent training or work experience.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in a systems administrator or leadership role.
  • Experience managing IT professionals and environments.
  • Experience supporting a professional services firm; AEC industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Hands-on experience managing assets with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards that show trends and operational health.
  • Experience working with global or distributed teams in enterprise environments.
  • Strong background with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN.
  • Strong background with Windows Server and services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Skilled with LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless networks, including Cisco, Palo Alto, and Meraki platforms.
  • Knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP a plus.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, Entra, Microsoft 365, SCCM, and basic SQL administration.
  • Experience with IIS, Apache, or Tomcat is helpful.
  • Certifications (Valued): Relevant industry certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar cloud/system administration certifications are highly valued.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong time management and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business and technical personnel.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Move between standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing throughout the day.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Regular Travel to other offices.
