Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Accounting Supervisor to join our Accounting. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. ** This position is located in Downtown Dallas, and is in-office Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p.  This is not a hybrid, nor remote position.  **

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
  • Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and accountability
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit preparation
  • Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and revenue recognition
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules
  • Assist with cash flow management and banking relationships
  • Implement process improvements and accounting system enhancements
  • Support Accounting Operations as needed- including treasury, payables and payroll
  • Ad hoc reporting and requests from leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
  • Heavy balance sheet reconciliation experience
  • Knowledge and experience in full cycle accounting- including operations
  • Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Deltek, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP or similar ERP systems)
