We are seeking a Deltek Vantagepoint System Administrator to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, configuring, and optimizing our Deltek Vantagepoint financial management system. 

This is a hands-on position focused on ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and alignment with accounting and operational workflows. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a solid understanding of project-based accounting environments and enjoys partnering with business teams to improve systems, automate workflows, and increase operational efficiency. 

We are particularly interested in candidates who are curious about emerging technologies such as automation and AI and motivated to explore how these tools can streamline processes and improve the way teams work. 

• Administer, configure, and maintain the Deltek Vantagepoint system, including system settings, workflows, security roles, and user access. 

• Manage system changes and updates through the Change Management process, ensuring proper documentation and governance. 

• Collaborate with Accounting, Human Resources, and other Operations teams to support business processes and implement system improvements. 

• Plan, test, and implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in coordination with internal teams and external vendors. 

• Maintain and support integrations with other enterprise systems. 

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and custom fields to support financial and operational reporting needs. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to minimize disruption to business operations. 

• Ensure data integrity and system accuracy through audits, validation processes, and governance standards. 

• Create and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides and standard operating procedures. 

• Provide end-user support and training as needed. 

• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve system workflows, including exploring the use of AI and automation tools to drive efficiency across teams. 

Required:

• 4+ years of experience administering and supporting Deltek Vantagepoint or similar Deltek ERP systems. 

• Knowledge of Deltek revenue generation methods and processes. 

• Strong understanding of project-based accounting principles, including: 

• Revenue recognition 

• Accounts payable processing 

• Billing 

• Labor costing 

• Experience with system configuration, security administration, and reporting. 

• Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions. 

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. 

Preferred:

• Experience in architecture, engineering, or professional services firms. 

• Experience with Elevia Software applications 

• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts. 

• Experience with ERP integrations and API-based data exchange. 

• Exposure to business intelligence, automation platforms, or AI-enabled tools. 

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other Customer Relationship Management systems. 

This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
